Man City line-up vs Leeds United includes Ruben Dias and Aymeric Laporte

Pep Guardiola has thrown Ruben Dias straight into the starting line-up for his first Manchester City game, away to Leeds United.

Dias, a record signing from Benfica, trained with his new teammates for the first time on Thursday, and impressed enough to be named in the starting XI at Elland Road.

In defence alongside him is Aymeric Laporte, as City fans get a look at their new first choice defensive partnership.

Laporte played 90 minutes at Burnley this week, after missing the first three fixtures following his self-isolation period.

Kyle Walker and Benjamin Mendy continue at full-back, with the likes of Joao Cancelo and Aleks Zinchenko still out.

Rodri anchors the midfield, with Kevin de Bruyne and Phil Foden ahead of him.

And up front, Raheem Sterling is once again named in the central forward role, with Riyad Mahrez and Ferran Torres starting on the wings.

Youngsters Liam Delap and Cole Palmer could come off the bench.

Man City starting XI to face Leeds: Ederson, Walker, Dias, Laporte, Mendy, Rodrigo, De Bruyne (C), Foden, Mahrez, Sterling, Torres

Substitutes: Steffen, Stones, Bernardo, Ake, Fernandinho, Delap, Palmer
