Man City line up vs Cheltenham includes Tommy Doyle and Aymeric Laporte

Pep Guardiola has selected two youngsters in his Manchester City starting line up to face Cheltenham in the FA Cup fourth round.

City are at the Jonny-Rocks Stadium, or Whaddon Road, looking to book their place in the fifth round and avoid an upset against a side who started the day 72 places below them.

Pep Guardiola insisted he would give Cheltenham the respect they deserve, especially as he doesn't know much about their dangers in comparison to Premier League sides he comes up against regularly.

In goal, cup goalkeeper Zack Steffen continues his role playing in domestic competitions away from the Premier League, and he is protected by a defence of Eric Garcia, Taylor Harwood-Bellis, Aymeric Laporte and Benjamin Mendy.

In midfield, with Kevin De Bruyne out for at least four weeks, Fernandinho captains the side with Tommy Doyle getting a deserved start and Phil Foden seemingly in the centre.

And in attack, Gabriel Jesus starts, supported by Riyad Mahrez and Ferran Torres.

On the bench, Guardiola can call upon five substitutes for this game, and his options include Ruben Dias, Raheem Sterling and Bernardo Silva. Adrian Bernabe is the only academy representative among the substitutes.

Man City starting XI vs Cheltenham: Steffen, Garcia, Harwood-Bellis, Laporte, Mendy, Fernandinho (C), Doyle, Mahrez, Torres, Foden, Jesus

Substitutes: Ederson, Dias, Sterling, Gundogan, Zinchenko, Rodrigo, Bernardo, Cancelo, Bernabe
