Man City line up vs Brighton includes Benjamin Mendy as Sergio Augero misses out

Pep Guardiola has named his Manchester City side to face Brighton in the FA Cup semi-final at Wembley.

The City boss is hoping to make it his first FA Cup final and standing in his way are Chris Hughton's Brighton who knocked out Millwall in the quarter finals.

A win at Wembley on Saturday evening would mean City are still on course to landing a historic quadruple. Guardiola's side won the League Cup earlier in the season and are still firmly in contention for the Premier League title and have a Champions League quarter-final clash against Spurs to look forward to next week.

Guardiola made seven changes to the side that beat Cardiff in the league on Wednesday night bringing in Benjamin Mendy, Otamendi, Kyle Walker, Ilkay Gundogan, Bernardo Silva, David Silva and Raheem Sterling.

There was no room in the match day squad for Sergio Aguero who missed the Cardiff win through injury.

City XI: Ederson, Mendy, Laporte, Otamendi, Walker, Gundogan, Bernardo, Silva (C), De Bruyne, Sterling, Jesus

Bench: Muric, Danilo, Stones, Fernandinho, Sane, Mahrez, Foden
