Man City keeping tabs on Lautaro Martinez and more transfer rumours

Man City have scouted Inter Milan's highly rated striker Lautaro Martinez, according to reports.

Despite being the top scorers in the Premier League, City have struggled in front of goal as of late and have gone two games in a row without scoring for the first time under Pep Guardiola, after losing 1-0 to Manchester United and 2-0 to Tottenham last week.

With Sergio Aguero's contract set to expire at the end of next season, City may soon be looking to add to their attacking arsenal and have been linked with fellow Argentine Martinez.

The Times report that City have scouted Martinez, who is enjoying a great season in Italy having scored 16 times in 27 games in all competitions.

The report also claims that United are interested but will refuse to meet his £94million release clause, while Real Madrid are also keen. However, it's claimed that Barcelona is his most likely destination.

Meanwhile, Juventus are reportedly keeping tabs on Houssem Aouar of Lyon, a player who has been regularly linked with City over the past two years.

Pep Guardiola praised Aouar after City’s Champions League games with Lyon last season, but the club did not make a move for him over the summer.

Now, Tuttosport, via InsideFutbol , claim Juve are seriously considering making a move for the 21-year-old.
