Kevin De Bruyne is recovering well from his injury as Manchester City prepare to face Leicester on Saturday.
Pep Guardiola confirmed that De Bruyne has trained well this week after missing the last two City games, plus Belgium's fixtures over the international break, as a result of the injury picked up over the summer. He came on as a substitute against Tottenham, but has been missing since.
Now, though, Guardiola says De Bruyne has been stepping up his recovery when asked about his progress along with fellow fitness concern Phil Foden.
City showed training footage of both players training on Thursday, with Foden joining the rest of the squad for the first time this season.
Guardiola said: "Yesterday [Thursday] Phil makes the first training session.
"Kevin trained good the last week, part alone, part with three or four players here plus players from the youth team. He feels much better."
The manager also offered an update on Zack Steffen, who has tested positive for Covid-19 while on international duty.
"He's in the United States of America," the manager confirmed.

"[He's] isolated because of the positive test. After ten days and two PCRs will be made he will be back."
City also welcomed back Liam Delap to training on Thursday after his injury issues, while Nathan Ake was back at the CFA after withdrawing from the Netherlands squad for 'private circumstances'.
