Phil Foden and Nathan Ake are expected to be available for selection this weekend when Manchester City host Wolves.
Pep Guardiola endured a difficult night on Tuesday evening as the two players picked up injury concerns to add to an underwhelming performance from a strong team in a meaningless Champions League fixture given the Blues had already confirmed top spot.
Ake was taken off with a back injury while Foden complained of issues with his ankle that saw him substituted at half-time.
However, assessments back in Manchester on Wednesday indicated that they should both be fit for the Premier League game at the weekend.
The news will come as a further boost to Guardiola, with Aymeric Laporte and Gabriel Jesus - who missed the Champions League game in Leipzig with minor issues - both back in the gym with the rest of the squad. The manager also made sure Ilkay Gundogan and Kyle Walker clocked up another start in that game, having felt that missing one game in the previous five had knocked their rhythm.
Bernardo Silva, Joao Cancelo and Rodri will all return too, having been left at home for the Champions League game as a result of the team having already qualified. Cancelo has played 1832 minutes in all competition for City this season, while Ederson is the only other member of the squad to have featured more often than Bernardo and Rodri.
Guardiola will be expected to give a further update on the condition of his players at his press conference on Friday lunchtime.
