Man City forward Raheem Sterling calls out Leonardo Bonucci over Moise Kean racism comments

Raheem Sterling has hit back at Juventus defender Leonardo Bonucci over comments he made after Moise Kean was racially abused on Tuesday night.

Bonucci's club teammate was the subject of vile racist chanting throughout Juventus' win at Cagliari, with the abuse intensifying once the 19-year-old forward scored the second goal of the match and celebrated by standing in front of the home supporters with his arm aloft.

The match was eventually stopped following the goal and a warning message was broadcast to the crowd telling them that further abuse could potentially lead to the game being abandoned.

However, speaking after the game Bonucci not only condemned the chanting, but also controversially suggested Kean was partly to blame for provoking a further reaction once he had scored the goal.

"You celebrate goals with your team-mates. He could have done it differently," Bonucci told Sky Sport Italia.

"I think the blame is 50-50. Moise should not have done that and the Curva [fans] should not have reacted in that way."

Sterling has himself been the victim of racist abuse this season and was completely dumbfounded to see such a response from one of Kean's own teammates.

Taking to social media on Wednesday morning the England international called out Bonucci over the comments he made.

"The blame is 50-50 @bonuccileo19," Sterling posted on his Instragram story followed by a number of laughing emojis. "All you can do now is laugh."
