Man City February and March fixtures moved as winter break confirmed

Four Manchester City fixtures have been moved in February and March as the plans for the winter break have been confirmed.

The Premier League announced that half of the ten games scheduled for the weekend of February 8/9 would be pushed back by a week in order to give players time to recover at the end of a hectic schedule.

City will take the second week off as their home game against West Ham will now take place at 4.30pm on Sunday February 9.

A week earlier, their away game at Tottenham will take place on Sunday February 2 at 4.30pm in a game that will see Pep Guardiola renew his rivalry with former Real Madrid and United boss Jose Mourinho.

City's trip to Leicester has been pushed back to a teatime kick-off at 5.30pm on Saturday February 22, three days before the Blues fly out for the first leg of their Champions League last-16 clash with Real Madrid .

At the end of that week, City's home game with Arsenal has been pencilled in for Sunday March 1 at 2pm. However, the league cup final is on that day so the Premier League game will be moved if Guardiola's side make it past United in the semi-finals.

City Premier League fixture list in February

Sunday 2, 4.30pm: Tottenham (a)
Sunday 9, 4.30pm: West Ham (h)
Saturday 22, 5.30pm: Leicester (a)
Sunday March 1, 2pm*: Arsenal (h)
