Man City fans troll Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer in derby

Manchester City fans mocked Manchester United manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer as they took a commanding lead in their Carabao Cup semi-final first leg.

City raced out of the blocks at United to take a commanding 3-0 lead at half time of the first leg thanks to goals from Bernardo Silva, Riyad Mahrez and an Andreas Pereira own goal.

Bernardo's opener was a sublime left-footed shot into the top corner, before he turned provider for Mahrez with a defence-splitting pass and the Algerian winger rounded David de Gea to slot home into an empty net.

City then broke in numbers led by Kevin De Bruyne, who completely wrong-footed Phil Jones and saw his shot saved into the path of Pereira.

Naturally, the travelling City support were in dreamland at Old Trafford, and did not miss the opportunity to mock their rivals for an inept defensive display.

Among the songs belted out by a jubilant City support was the old classics: "City, Tearing Cockneys Apart Again" and a new song referencing Solskjaer's future at Old Trafford.

There is nothing to suggest Solskjaer will leave United, but their inconsistency this season has sparked rumours he could be replaced.

And City fans gave a clear view on the speculation, singing, "Ole Gunnar Solskjaer, we want you to stay!"
