Manchester City fans couldn't resist having a cheeky dig at Liverpool defender Virgil van Dijk after Leroy Sane scored for Germany against the Netherlands on Sunday night.
Sane opened the scoring for Germany in the 15th minute of their Euro 2020 qualifier in Amsterdam, receiving a cross and firing past Jasper Cillessen in the home goal.
Sane definitely benefited from a Matthijs de Ligt slip at the crucial moment, with Van Dijk nowhere to be seen after getting beaten to the ball in midfield.
The goal came after Sane's fine performance in Germany's draw with Serbia last week, where the City man was electric in the second half.
The City man and Liverpool defender clearly relish their battle, with Van Dijk stopping a couple Sane runs as the first half progressed, but City fans took to Twitter to note that this wasn't the first time Sane had got the better of his rival this season.

City have taken four points off Liverpool in the Premier League, with Sane scoring the winner in January's pivotal clash between the sides at the Etihad.
