Manchester City know exactly what they must do to win the Premier League title after Liverpool's win over Chelsea on Sunday.
City had earlier beaten Crystal Palace to temporarily move above Liverpool, but the Reds beat Chelsea to retain top spot later in the afternoon.
Chelsea were Liverpool's highest placed opponents in the run-in, and Jurgen Klopp's men passed the challenge with ease thanks to goals from Sadio Mane and Mo Salah.
It leaves them with remaining fixtures against Cardiff, Huddersfield, Newcastle and Wolves, making it likely that City will need to win all their remaining games to topple the Reds and lift the title.
However, with City still to play Tottenham and Manchester United in their final five games, Liverpool fans were dreaming of a first Premier League title by assuming City would drop points in one of their final games.

But before they got carried away in Merseyside, City fans were quick to point out that with a game in hand they will win the league if they win their remaining five games - regardless of what Liverpool do.
