Man City fans send same message to Pep Guardiola after Cole Palmer display vs Swindon

Cole Palmer has 'magic in his boots' and will 'terrify defences' for the next 12 or 15 years.

They are the glowing comments being made from Manchester City supporters after the England Under-21 starlet produced an eye-catching FA Cup performance against League Two opponents Swindon.

Named in a strong-looking team which featured Ruben Dias, Joao Cancelo, Kevin de Bruyne and Bernardo Silva, it was the fleet-footed City graduate who took centre stage at the County Ground.

Providing an assist for the opener scored by Silva, the 19-year-old proceeded to round off the scoring during a 4-1 verdict with a stylish, left-footed finish in the dying embers.

That moment was, no doubt, the show-stopper for Palmer.

However, after being tipped for the top by former England international turned ITV pundit Ashley Cole pre-match, the forward justified that prediction with a man-of-the-match display.

Here are a selection of comments from City supporters on popular social media platform Twitter;

@terryflewers said: "Cole Palmer is class... the talent oozing out of every part of Man City."

@AdamFoskett2 posted: "Cole Palmer looks like a baller."

@SuperFlySouza1 added: "Every opportunity he gets that youth Cole Palmer impresses me."
