Man City fans send Pep Guardiola definitive selection message ahead of Burnley trip

Manchester City supporters believe Leroy Sané is worthy of a starting berth in the Blues' Premier League game against Burnley at Turf Moor on Sunday.

The Germany international was on the bench for each of City's last two league outings - against Tottenham and Manchester United respectively - but came on to score the Blues' winner at Old Trafford.

City will retain the Premier League for the first time in their history with maximum points from their three remaining games after beating United in their game in hand over Liverpool on Wednesday night.

Bernardo Silva and Raheem Sterling were City's wingers against the Reds but the injury suffered by Fernandinho could see the former moved in field to leave room for either Sané or Riyad Mahrez.

But City fans on Twitter expressed their desire to see last season's PFA Young Player of the Year to be handed a run-out by Pep Guardiola, with 94% of 1,558 supporters claiming Sané should start at Turf Moor.

City have already won the Carabao Cup this season and will become the first team in history to win a domestic treble with success in the league and the FA Cup final against Watford.

But Guardiola says his side will focus on each game as it comes.

"I’m not thinking too much about that," he said. "I’m really concerned about this game against Burnley.

"I’m just focused on that, especially right now. I will analyse how many titles at the end of the season."
