Man City fans send message to Fabian Delph ahead of Everton move

Manchester City fans have praised Fabian Delph for his role in their back-to-back Premier League title wins, as he gets closer to a transfer to Everton.

City have agreed an £8m fee for Delph, 29, and he is expected to finalise a move to Goodison Park on Saturday.

Delph joined from Aston Villa in 2015, and has gone on to make 89 appearances in sky blue. The England man played a crucial role in City's 2017/18 Premier League triumph, deputising for Benjamin Mendy at left-back for much of the season.

But with the arrival of Angelino and emergence of Oleks Zinchenko as the preferred back-up to Mendy, Delph's playing opportunities are limited.

As Delph prepares to leave the Etihad, fans have taken to Twitter to thank Delph for his professionalism and contribution to six trophies during his time at the club.
