Man City fans say same thing about Harry Kane after another Tottenham no-show

Harry Kane is still yet to score his first goal of the Premier League season following another indifferent performance for Tottenham on Sunday.

Spurs started the derby with Chelsea well, creating several chances that could have put them ahead. but a tactical change from Thomas Tuchel for the second half swung the momentum in the Blues' favour.

With Spurs looking for inspiration in attack, Kane cut a forlorn figure both out wide and then centrally after a positional change. Chelsea controlled much of the action, after struggling in the first half, and Kane failed to assert himself along with the rest of Spurs' forward line.

With rumours around the England captain's future showing no sign of going away, invested Manchester City fans have weighed in on Kane's performance and it's safe to say they are not impressed.

The 28-year-old was described by Gary Neville as being "despondent" in the fixture, a demonstration of how far his performances have dropped since last season where he was arguably the best player in the league.

However, there is a suggestion that Kane's performances are a reflection of his desire to leave North London in favour of a move to City. He actively pursued a transfer in the summer and was reportedly fined for delaying his return to training.

Despite his considerable efforts, Spurs chairman Daniel Levy succeeded in his desire to keep hold of his talisman for the season.
