Man City fans react to Wolves defeat as Liverpool given title race boost

Manchester City fans have been reacting on social media following their side's defeat to Wolves.

A second half brace from Adama Traore gave and all three points at the Etihad.

Liverpool remain eight points clear at the top of the Premier League table as a result of Wolves' win.

The Reds secured a last-gasp victory over Leicester on Saturday afternoon to maintain their unbeaten start to the campaign, with a perfect eight wins from eight games.

Taking the lead through Sadio Mane's first half strike, the Foxes looked to have rescue themselves a point when James Maddison restored parity 10 minutes from time.

But in the fifth minute of stoppage time, the Reds were awarded a penalty when Marc Albrighton brought down Mane, with James Milner keeping his cool to convert from 12-yards out.

The defeat was City's second of the campaign and the club's fans have been reacting on social media after the shock result, with mixed views on what it means for the title race:

After the international break, Liverpool head to Old Trafford for a crunch clash against Man United.

They then play Genk away in the Champions League, before ahead big Premier League match against Spurs at home.

And on the horizon is the first meeting with City which takes place at Anfield on 10th November.
