Manchester City fans have reacted to the news that Kevin Friend will be the referee in charge for their Premier League fixture against Norwich City at the weekend.
City return to action following the international break with a trip to Carrow Road on Saturday, August 14, looking to extend their unbeaten start to the season.
However, fans aren't pleased after it was revealed that Friend would be the man in the middle for the encounter with Anthony Taylor providing VAR assistance.
Friend came under fire on match day four after ruling that Jack Grealish had dived in the build up to Aston Villa's late goal against Crystal Palace meaning it was chalked off.
Grealish received a booking for simulation despite appearing to return to his feet immediately and Villa went on to lose the game 1-0.
City fans took to social media to express their frustration at Friend's appointment.
