Manchester City fans have been reacting to the news that Nathan Ake could be joining the club.
The MEN understands Ake is among five players on City's summer wishlist, although the club is remaining tight-lipped over reports a £35million transfer is close.
Ake's current club is on the verge of relegation, with Bournemouth three points adrift of safety with just one game remaining.
But the Dutch defender is likely to dodge dropping to the Championship with City interested.
Ake has been with Bournemouth since 2017 when he joined from Chelsea for £20m following a loan deal.
After 115 league appearances in all, the 25-year-old Netherlands international looks set to depart and City fans are receptive to the idea of him moving to the Etihad.
Ake is under contract at Bournemouth until 2022 after signing a five-year deal in 2017.
The centre-back has made 30 appearances this season across all competitions, scoring two and assisting as many.
