Football fans of every club, from every country - but perhaps none more than Man City supporters - have been going wild after Vincent Kompany scored an incredible goal to give his team the lead against Leicester City in a crucial game in the Premier League title race.
Man City needed a victory against the Foxes to move back to the top of the table over Liverpool, with anything less than all three points handing the Reds the initiative to win their first ever Premier League trophy.
It had been a frustrating night for City, with Leicester playing really well and the pressure of the situation seemingly getting to them. Nothing was coming off and it was unclear where the goal would come from until the captain stepped up.

Kompany was in possession a good 30 yards from goal and when no Leicester player came out to close him down he let fire an incredible shot that flew straight into the top corner to give City the lead.
It was an unbeleiveable goal, not just because of its quality but who scored it, and football fans have been going wild on social media celebrating a special, potentially title winning goal.
