Manchester City fans can't separate Sergio Aguero and Kevin de Bruyne for their performances in the first four games of the new season.
City have started well, earning ten points and scoring 14 goals. Only a late VAR decision against Tottenham denied them a maximum return from the opening four fixtures.
Central to their form has been Aguero, scorer of six goals, and De Bruyne, who returns after an injury-hit campaign last term. The Belgian has started every game, providing five assists and one goal.
Such impressive returns from the pair have earned an average of 9/10 ratings from fans when MEN Sport asked fans to give each player this season a score out of ten.
David Silva has occupied the second central midfield spot beside De Bruyne, and fans ranked him third highest this season with a score of 8.7. Raheem Sterling, who has scored five goals in four games, is ranked fourth with 8.6.
New record signing Rodri has started well in defensive midfield, and is the fifth player with a score higher than 8 (8.1/10).
Six other players scored over 7/10, as Aymeric Laporte, Ederson, Riyad Mahrez, Kyle Walker, Bernardo Silva and Oleks Zinchenko were recognised for their efforts.
At the bottom of the rankings were Joao Cancelo and Phil Foden, who have only featured off the bench. John Stones and Fernandinho also received relatively low scores, but both have featured sparingly as a result of injury and lack of fitness.
