Man City fans mock Liverpool FC supporters and Jurgen Klopp following Burnley victory

Man City supporters have been joking about Liverpool fans' rallying around Ashley Barnes and Burnely following their side's 1-0 victory at Turf Moor to return to the top of the Premier League.

It was a tough game for City who were left frustrated by a resolute Burnley in the first half who put City off their usual slick, passing game.

But in the second 45 minutes City started to turn the screw and were camped outside of Burnley's box. The Clarets continued to defend valiantly and Tom Heaton made several fine saves but the goal was coming.

It finally arrived through Sergio Aguero who pounced with a scrappy effort that had to go to goal-line technology. But the goal was given and earned City all three points.

It was a vital victory on the way to the title as anything less would have handed Liverpool a massive advantage with just two game remaining.

Liverpool fans are understandably desperate to win their first Premier League title and supporters were throwing all their support behind Burnley, Sean Dyche and striker Ashley Barnes to do them a massive favour.
