Two years on from his decision to snub Manchester City in order to sign for Paris Saint-Germain, Dani Alves is once more being linked with a move to the Etihad.
City looked nailed on to land Alves in 2017 only for the veteran Brazilian to turn his back on Pep Guardiola and link up with Unai Emery in France instead.
The 36-year-old won six trophies during his two seasons at PSG before quitting at the end of last season to seek pastures news.
And now City are being linked with Alves again, with the club looking for reinforcements at full-back amid uncertainty surrounding Danilo's future.
The Juventus defender Joao Cancelo is high up on City's list of defensive targets but could the Blues be tempted by the option to sign Alves for nothing given Cancelo will likely cost the club around £50million?
