Man City fans make Oleksandr Zinchenko and Kevin De Bruyne Euro 2020 comparison

Manchester City supporters have shown their love for Oleksandr Zinchenko after his latest European Championship performance.

Zinchenko is captaining Ukraine at Euro 2020 and he's played an important role in taking his nation to new, uncharted territory in the competition, with his country reaching the quarter-finals on Tuesday night after they scored late in extra time against Sweden.

The versatile full-back, who City signed for just £1.7m five years ago, is the youngster player to captain Ukraine at a major tournament and he's notably given more attacking responsibility on the international stage, although he's certainly excelled with that burden.

The Blues' Zinchenko opened the scoring for Ukraine against Sweden with a finely struck volley, while he also answered the call when his country needed him most deep in the latter stages of the game when providing the assist for the match-winner.

It was a beautifully weighted cross from Zinchenko and some City fans were quick to compare him to Kevin De Bruyne.

Zinchenko won the Man of the Match award for his exploits, which City fans clearly thought was well deserved.
