Man City fans make Ole Gunnar Solskjaer jibe during Carabao Cup clash with West Ham

Manchester City fans aimed a jibe at their rivals Manchester United and manager Ole Gunnar Solskjaer on Wednesday during the team's clash with West Ham United in the League Cup.

The Red Devils are in disarray at the moment following their 5-0 loss to Liverpool on Sunday in the Premier League.

A hat-trick from Mohamed Salah plus goals from Diogo Jota and Naby Keita saw the visiting supporters rejoice at Old Trafford and they started to rub it in with some songs from the stands.

The Liverpool supporters sarcastically chimed "Ole's at the wheel" in reference to a song United fans have previously chorused in support of their now under-pressure manager.

Despite intense speculation surrounding his position, Solskjaer appears set to remain in charge of United for the time being. The team have lost three and drawn one of their last four Premier League games, leaving them eight points off the pace in the Premier League.

With Solskjaer seemingly sticking around for a little longer yet, it was the turn of the City supporters to stick the boot in, as they chanted the song in a similarly sarcastic way to the Reds.

This follows on from Leeds United supporters renditioning 'Ole's at the wheel' on Tuesday during their clash with Arsenal in the League Cup.

West Ham supporters may also be hopeful that Solskjaer stays in charge, as their strong start to season may see them gate-crash the top four should the Red Devils' woes carry on for much longer.

The Hammers sit fourth in the table after nine games following back-to-back 1-0 wins over Everton and Tottenham.
