Manchester City fans are switching their focus from the Premier League title after defeat against Manchester United saw them fall 14 points off leaders Liverpool.
Marcus Rashford and Anthony Martial condemned United to a deserved win at the Etihad, despite Nicolas Otamendi's late consolation. City remain third, with Liverpool's win at Bournemouth earlier in the day extending their lead over Pep Guardiola's side to 14 points.
City's defeat means they have now dropped as many points in 16 games this season as they did in the whole of last season. Liverpool, meanwhile, have only dropped two points - against United at Old Trafford.
The latest setback makes City's task of retaining their Premier League title for the third consecutive season far harder, and fans think Guardiola should now prioritise the cup competitions including the Champions League to salvage something from the season - after conceding the title to Liverpool.
