Man City fans make exciting Raheem Sterling prediction after Kitchee friendly

Manchester City fans have identified the most positive development to come out of pre-season after Raheem Sterling put in another impressive display against Kitchee.

City have had to play without strikers Sergio Aguero and Gabriel Jesus so far this summer after the pair were involved in the Copa America, and youngster Lukas Nmecha was taken on tour as the only recognised striker.

Nmecha started and scored in the opening win over West Ham, but it has been second half substitute Sterling who has made the bigger impression.

Sterling started the next two friendlies upfront, making up for his missed penalty against Wolves by scoring and providing two assists against Kitchee.

With City likely to be without Aguero and Jesus for the Community Shield clash against Liverpool, fans have seen enough to back Sterling to flourish in a central role at Wembley.

And some fans even think City have found a new striking option in Sterling, backing him to improve his scoring and assist count in the process.

Watch out Liverpool
