Man City fans loved Phil Foden's celebration in Champions League win over Dinamo Zagreb

Man City fans absolutely loved Phil Foden's celebration against Dinamo Zagreb as he kissed the badge after grabbing his first goal of the season in the Champions League victory.

Teenage starlet Foden has once again found playing time difficult for City this season as he remains below Kevin De Bruyne, David Silva, Ilkay Gundogan and Bernardo Silva in the attacking midfield pecking order.

He has started just once so far this season in the comfortable 3-0 victory over Preston North End in the Carabao Cup and aside from those 90 minutes he has played just 12 minutes of football.

Foden came on as a late substitute against Zagreb on Tuesday but this time he made his minutes count by grabbing a goal.

It came from Raheem Sterling picking the ball up in his own half and driving to the edge of the opposition box before teeing up Foden who stroked the ball into the bottom corner on his first touch with the near last kick of the game.

The 19-year-old wheeled away to the cheering fans in the Etihad while pointing at and kissing the badge before he was mobbed by his teammates.

Pep Guardiola was once again full of praise for Foden after the match and admitted he deserves to play more.

"I know, he deserves to play," he said. "I want to give him minutes, I’m unfair to him.

"I’m sorry but he has [Kevin] De Bruyne, [David] Silva and Rodri..."

It's of little surprise that City fans adored seeing the passion for the club that local lad Foden has and they also hope he gets more game time in the coming weeks.

Going no where!
