Man City fans love return of Pep Guardiola's tactical decision after 16-month league exile

Manchester City fans are over the moon to see both Sergio Aguero and Gabriel Jesus named in the starting XI to face Aston Villa in the Premier League .

Pep Guardiola raised eyebrows during the Carabao Cup clash against Manchester United by opting not to field a striker, using Bernardo Silva in the forward line to great effect.

The decision to rest both Aguero and Jesus left fans guessing who would get the nod against the Villans, given the Argentine has a fantastic record against the Midlands side but the Brazilian has been scoring regularly during his recent absence.

Guardiola has opted to field both men, leaving Raheem Sterling on the bench, they start together in the Premier League for the first time since September 1, 2018.

Jesus regularly plays on the left of the attack for Brazil and supporters can't wait to see the pair link up in attack.
