Manchester City fans were touched to see Phil Foden's celebration after netting a crucial goal against Borussia Dortmund in the Champions League.
City were level at 1-1 in the second leg in Germany, leading 3-2 on aggregate, meaning another Dortmund goal would have taken the game to extra-time.
Yet, with 15 minutes left, Foden scored a crucial goal as he rifled in a low shot from the edge of the area after Dortmund had fallen asleep whilst defending a corner.
The goal was enough to secure City's passage to the semi-finals and sparked pandemonium among the squad, with Foden running straight to Pep Guardiola and embracing his manager.
It was a moment that City fans were delighted by.
Foden has become a key player for Guardiola after coming through City's youth ranks, despite criticism from some pundits earlier in his career that the manager was not giving the youngster enough football.
Yet Guardiola's warmth of feeling towards the attacker was always well-known, with the manager constantly talking up the youngster's potential.
Earlier this season, Guardiola said Foden has the potential to play both on the wing and in a No. 10 role, arguing the 20-year-old will only continue to improve.
“Phil can play in both positions," he said.
"I have said many times he is so young. Phil just needs time to improve playing inside.
"When you play as a winger you have to play at one tempo and when you play inside you have to play in another one.
"When he gets this balance he will be 10 times more extraordinary as a player. It’s just a question of time."
