Manchester City fans are delighted to see Eric Garcia named in the starting XI to face Sheffield United in the Premier League following the defeat against Wolves.
The Blues squandered a two-goal advantage at Molineux following a red card to Ederson and a number of defensive mistakes. Nicolas Otamendi and Benjamin Mendy both made errors in the build up to Wolves goals and Guardiola has decided to switch things up for the visit of the Blades.
With Ederson suspended, Claudio Bravo starts in between the sticks with Kyle Walker and Fernandinho retaining their place in the back four.
Alongside the Brazilian, Garcia will make his first start in the Premier League with Otamendi dropping to the bench. Mendy also loses his place in the team with Oleksandr Zinchenko returning from injury to take his place at left-back.
City fans are excited to see the young Spaniard in action given their recent defensive woes. With Aymeric Laporte still sidelined with injury, a strong performance could see Garcia trusted with more first-team minutes over the busy festive period.
