Man City fans love how Pep Guardiola wound up Southampton staff

Manchester City fans loved what Pep Guardiola did after City took the lead against Southampton in their Premier League meeting at the Etihad Stadium.

The visitors took a first-half lead following Ederson's mistake with James Ward-Prowse hammering home and City went in at the break a goal down.

Eager to protect their slender advantage, Southampton made every attempt to wind down the clock, including one of Ralph Hasenhuttl's back-room staff grabbing the ball in the 60th minute which enraged Guardiola on the touchline.

City equalised through Sergio Aguero before Kyle Walker put them ahead with just four minutes remaining and Guardiola hadn't forgotten about the earlier incident.

As Southampton prepared to take a throw in, Guardiola grabbed the ball and sarcastically offered it to the Southampton coach who had been eager to waste time when the Saints were ahead.

Man City fans were delighted to see their manager have the last laugh and took to social media to react to his antics.
