Manchester City fans have urged manager Pep Guardiola to make a move for Bayern Munich star David Alaba in the summer transfer in the wake of reports linking the defender with a switch to the Etihad Stadium.
Guardiola is expected to strengthen his defence in the upcoming window with centre-back believed to be an area of priority.
Various reports suggest a left-back will also be on his short list with transfer speculation surrounding Leicester's Ben Chilwell refusing to die down.
Sport claim City are interested in signing Alaba after failing to land the Austrian international last summer.
Alaba has featured in multiple roles during his time with Bayern and was used at centre-back during Guardiola's spell in charge of the Bavarians.
Blues fans are delighted with the rumour and hope City make a move for the 27-year-old.

During a recent interview with GQ Magazine, Alaba admitted he did not know where his immediate future lies.
He said: "I feel very well in Munich.
"But in principle, I could also imagine taking a different path. That remains to be seen.
"I don’t think about that at the moment."
