Man City fans hold one concern after Borussia Monchengladbach Champions League draw

Manchester City fans are fearful of underestimating Borussia Monchengladbach after drawing them in the last 16 of the UEFA Champions League.

City will take on the Bundesliga outfit next year for a place in the quarter-finals of the competition.

Gladbach qualified from their group alongside Real Madrid, knocking out Shakhtar Donetsk and Inter Milan in the process.

City topped their group with relative ease, qualifying alongside Porto after taking 16 points from a possible 18.

Monchenglach didn't qualify for last year's competition whilst City, by contrast, were knocked out in the last eight by Lyon.

Whilst many rival fans believes City have netted themselves the nicest-looking ties, supporters on social media are wary of underestimating their opponents.

On the draw, Pep Guardiola said: "I learned when I was in Germany how big and important and historic they are as a team.

"It is a club that I respect a lot, the quality and beauty of their football. To go through in a group with Shakhtar, Inter and Real with two exceptional games against Shakhtar.

"The only concern I have is (to) arrive in the best condition possible in February against them. I saw the highlights, I didn't see much of them properly and we start to work on this from now on."

Borussia Monchengladbach currently sit eighth in the Bundesliga and have one of their last eight matches in all competitions.
