Manchester City fans want Pep Guardiola to reward Riyad Mahrez with a start against Watford in the Premier League after his excellent performance against Shakhtar Donetsk.
The Algerian made a flying start to the season against West Ham but was subsequently dropped from the starting line up with Bernardo Silva taking his place.
After starting on the bench during the defeat against Norwich, Mahrez was recalled for the trip to Ukraine and made an instant impact.
Ilkay Gundogan's shot rattled the post, but the winger was on hand to crash the ball home. There was suspicions of offside but replays showed the former Leicester play timed his run to perfection.
Mahrez returned the favour shortly after, jinking inside to pick out Gundogan with a smart pass and the German did the rest.
After another solid performance, City fans are desperate to see Mahrez retain his place in the starting XI for the weekend's fixture against Watford.
