Man City supporters have demanded that the club now turn their attention on securing Leroy Sane's future at the club after Kyle Walker's contract extension was confirmed on Wednesday.
The England right-back still had three years remaining on his current deal but City have moved to extend his contract by a further two years to keep him at the Etihad until 2024.
“I’m thrilled to have signed a new deal. Playing for City has been everything I’d hoped it would be and more," Walker said on the deal.
“It was an easy decision. I want to be competing for trophies, playing at the highest level, and I feel I have improved hugely as a player during my time here."
The 29-year-old earned his new deal after he bounced back from a poor display in December to play a crucial role in City's historic treble triumph and now City fans want the same for Sane.
The German's current contract is set to expire in the summer of 2021 and he has been heavily linked with a move away from Manchester this summer even though he had a disappointing season.
Sane appeared to fall out of favour with Pep Guardiola and wasn't trusted to play in the big games, not starting any of the final seven matches against top six opposition.
Yet that hasn't put Bayern Munich off and they haven't kept their interest in the 23-year-old a secret, with president Uli Hoeness and several top players all discussing the move.
City fans don't want Sane to depart the club and have begged City to get his future secured next.
