Man City fans delighted as Sergio Aguero returns to team vs Wolves

Pep Guardiola has recalled Sergio Aguero and Rodri to his Manchester City starting XI to face Wolves tonight as he prepares for a quick turnaround before the next game against Sheffield United.

City play two games in less than 48 hours, starting at Molineux, so Guardiola has responded to the fixture congestion with two changes from the side that beat Leicester last time out.

Ederson retains his place in goal, with the same back four who started against Leicester named at Molineux. That means Kyle Walker, Fernandinho, Nicolas Otamendi and Benjamin Mendy all start.

Rodri replaces Ilkay Gundogan in defensive midfield, with Kevin De Bruyne and Bernardo Silva retaining their places.

Upfront, Sergio Aguero comes in for Gabriel Jesus, who misses out completely. Riyad Mahrez and Raheem Sterling complete the starting XI.

And fans felt, despite Jesus' illness, Aguero's return to the starting line up was a huge bonus for City.
