Man City fans have been left delighted as Pep Guardiola has started promising duo Phil Foden and Eric Garcia in the FA Cup tie against Fulham.
Midfield prodigy Foden has already made 22 appearances this season but hasn't featured since coming on as a second-half substitute in the 6-1 mauling of Aston Villa and has started just twice in the league.
Fans are understandably delighted to see the 'Stockport Iniesta' in action and they will get another chance against the Cottagers on Sunday.
Foden is joined by fellow teenager Garcia in the starting line-up, with the centre-back being given another chance to impress.
The Spaniard is making his 11th appearance of the season, with his latest coming in the hard fought victory over Sheffield United in mid-week in which he made vital defensive contributions.
City will be hoping to be in the hat for the fifth round of the competition as they look to retain the prestigious trophy.
They will take confidence in the fact that they have a brilliant record against the Fulham, winning all three meetings by an aggregate score of 7-0 last season and not losing to them at all since 2009.
Despite their record against London side, Guardiola has named a very strong side for the match but fans are pleased that he has still managed to fit the young pair into the side.
