Man City fans dare to dream after Ajax knock Juventus out of Champions League

Manchester City fans are allowing themselves to be cautiously optimistic of reaching the Champions League final after Ajax beat Juventus in the quarter finals.

City trail Tottenham 1-0 ahead of the second leg of the quarter final at the Etihad on Wednesday, but now know they will face Ajax in the last four.

Ajax produced another stunning performance in this season's competition to beat Juventus 2-1 in Turin thanks to goals from Donny van de Beek and Matthijs de Ligt after Cristiano Ronaldo's opener.

In the quarter finals, they beat Real Madrid 4-1 at the Bernabeu after losing the first leg 2-1 at home.

They would face Barcelona, Liverpool or Porto in the final.

Of course, City must overcome Tottenham and also manage what Real and Juventus could not and beat Ajax. But that didn't stop some fans recognising their best chance of success in the competition.
