Man City fans criticise midfielder's first-half performance against Wolves

Manchester City fans aren't happy with Ilkay Gundogan's showing in centre midfield during the first-half of their Premier League encounter against Wolves.

Pep Guardiola opted to field both Gundogan and David Silva ahead of Rodri in the engine room after Kevin De Bruyne was ruled out with a hamstring injury.

The Catalan could have given Phil Foden his first Premier League start of the season after scoring in midweek against Zagreb but the youngster was forced to watch from the bench alongside Bernardo Silva.

City struggled to impose themselves in the first-half against Nuno Espirito Santo's men, with Wolves arguably having the better chances, as the teams entered level at the break. 

Fans aren't pleased with Gundogan 's performance, questioning Guardiola's decision to pick him instead of more attack minded options.
