Those are the words of every Manchester City supporter on Sunday morning following the shock news that Vincent Kompany will be leaving the club at the end of the season.
City confirmed the departure of their club captain following their FA Cup triumph at Wembley as Kompany captained his side to silverware on his final appearance for the club.
Kompany made 360 appearances during his time at the Etihad Stadium and is not only a club legend, but a legend of the English game as well.
The Belgian defender netted 20 goals during his time at the club, with his sensational winner against Leicester this season crucial in City retaining the Premier League title.
News of his departure came as a shock to his loyal supporters, and although it was a sad sight to see, fans all wanted to thank the captain for his immense contribution to the club.
