Man City fan snubs Messi and Mbappe to sum up Bernardo Silva display vs PSG

Lionel Messi, Kylian Mbappe and Neymar are usually the most popular players on any pitch, but not tonight.

Manchester City earned a thoroughly deserved win over Paris Saint-Germain on Wednesday night to confirm their place in Champions League knockout stages as Group A winners.

City dominated the first half but it was PSG who made the breakthrough minutes after the restart through Mbappe, who pounced on a Messi cut-back to slot home between Ederson's legs.

However, Raheem Sterling and Gabriel Jesus - the latter on as a substitute - turned the game on its head as City ran out victors.

The celebrations continued on the pitch at full-time and one young Man City fan made a beeline for Bernardo Silva on the pitch.

Bernardo gave him a quick ruffle of the shirt but that wasn't enough for the youngster, who simply picked up the player's shirt and the Portuguese duly obliged.

City head to Leipzig in their final group game, which is now a mere formality of Pep Guardiola and co, which will be played behind closed doors due to the rising Covid cases in Saxony.

The Premier League champions are next in action this weekend as they welcome West Ham to the Etihad Stadium.
