Man City evening headlines as Kingsley Coman sends Leroy Sane a warning and City starlet impresses

Here are your Manchester City evening headlines for Wednesday, June 10.

Bayern’s Coman sends warning to Sane

Bayern Munich winger Kingsley Coman says Leroy Sane will not take his place in the side should the Manchester City winger move to Germany this summer.

The Bundesliga champions have made no secret of their desire to bring Sane to the Allianz Arena, but City are holding out for a price the deem to be fair despite the fact he only has a year remaining on his contract.

And Coman has spoken out about his future at Bayern Munich amid reports he could be used as a makeweight in a deal.

"If Sane came, it would not be a problem!" Coman told Bild, via Goal. "Except if the club says to me that they no longer need me, but I think the club knows what it has in me. The situation of Leroy Sane has nothing to do with my own future.”

Bundesliga trend could halt Reds at home

Liverpool are set to claim the Premier League title for the first time in their history and in doing so could break a number of Manchester City records.

With just five points dropped all season, Liverpool could finish the year with a record 109 points should they win their remaining nine games. The Reds could also beat City’s record of most wins (32) and biggest margin between first and second (19).

But the Bundesliga – already back underway behind closed doors – has shown a peculiar pattern for home teams, with almost half of the 46 fixtures played so far resulting in away wins since the re-start (22 away wins, 49 per cent).

Liverpool have won every home game this season and take pride in the atmosphere they create at Anfield, but City’s records may yet be safe if Anfield loses its fear factor and teams come to Merseyside with a little less dread. Wishful thinking, perhaps.

City starlet impresses after first training sessions

Manchester City youth star Cole Palmer has impressed after ‘detailed’ training sessions with the first-team.

Palmer has had a brilliant season with the U18 side, netting 15 times and grabbing five assists in just 14 games, earning a call-up to train with the first-team this week ahead of the Premier league’s return

And when speaking to youth football hub ' TheSecretScout ' on his training with Pep Guardiola, Palmer stated: "It's very good. You learn so much in a very short period of time and especially from the players - it's crazy! So detailed!"

Guardiola and his coaching staff, in turn, are said to be ‘impressed’ by the teenager. Keep an eye out for him in the run-in!
