Man City 'enter race' for Manchester United target Ronald Araujo and more transfer rumours

Manchester City have reportedly entered the race for Barcelona's Ronald Araujo.

The 23-year-old's deal at Camp Nou expires in June 2023 and recent reports have suggested that contract talks between Barca and Araujo have stalled. This has led to some of the biggest clubs in Europe being linked with the talented centre-back.

Arsenal, Chelsea and Manchester United have all been tipped to make a move for the defender but it has now been reported that Pep Guardiola's men are also looking to take advantage of Barcelona's stuttering negotiations. Super Deporte claim that if contract talks don't progress, City would be open to making the youngster an offer.

Meanwhile, Ajax are said to have named their price for reported City target Antony. According to Tuttosport (via Sport Witness), Juventus, Bayern Munich and City are all interested in the 22-year-old winger.

Antony has over three years remaining on his deal at the Johan Cruyff Arena, meaning Ajax are under no pressure to cut ties. The Dutch club will be looking for somewhere between €60m (£50.5m) and €70m (£59m) 'at a minimum' if they're to allow him to leave.

The Brazilian has proved to be a key member of Erik ten Hag's squad this season. In 33 appearances in all competitions, Antony has scored 12 goals and notched 10 assists.
