Benjamin Mendy was in attendance as Barcelona beat Liverpool in the Champions League on Wednesday night.
The Manchester City defender travelled to the Nou Camp to watch as Jurgen Klopp and his side were beaten 3-0 thanks to a goal from Luis Suarez and a brilliant brace from Lionel Messi.
Mendy was filmed during the match wildly celebrating a Barcelona goal, and it certainly seems like he was delighted to see City's domestic rivals lose.
The 24-year-old had been invited to the match by international teammates Ousmane Dembele and Samuel Umtiti and it was clear to see he enjoyed himself.
A clip of him celebrating one of the goals went viral on social media on Wednesday night in which the French defender appeared to be making a gesture with his middle finger.
It is not clear which of the goals is being celebrated in the short clip, but it is clear to see the sheer jubilation of Mendy during the aftermath of the strike.
Mendy also took to his own social media account to document the match and uploaded a number of clips from the stands as he cheered on his compatriots.
After the match the City full-back was also seen catching up with fellow World Cup winners Dembele and Umtiti as they reflected on another successful night in the Premier League.
Mendy will be hoping his celebrations don't come back to haunt him as City battle Liverpool for the Premier League title with only two games left to play.
