Man City Champions League last-16 opponents confirmed

Manchester City will play Borussia Monchengladbach in the last 16 of the UEFA Champions League.

The Blues were one of the seeded teams after winning their group easily, meaning they would avoid many of the big guns in the first knockout round.

In the draw, made at UEFA's headquarters in Nyon this morning, City were paired with the German side who qualified from their group alongside Real Madrid, knocking out Shakhtar Donetsk and Inter Milan.

Borussia currently lie eighth in the Bundesliga where they have only one won of their last five matches.
