Man City CAS appeal: Recap our live Q&A on the UEFA ban saga

Legal representatives of Manchester City are currently appealing against sanctions handed down to them by UEFA due to 'serious breaches' of their Financial Fair Play regulations.

City were handed a large fine and a two-year ban from European competitions. The Blues have appealed against the ruling and the appeal hearing is currently the second of its three scheduled days at the Court of Arbitration for Sport. It's not yet known when a verdict will be announced.

It means the club and its top players are in limbo - will the appeal fail, leaving them without European football for two years, or will it be successful, possibly leaving the whole concept of FFP in tatters?

Our City writer Simon Bajkowski will be discussing the issue in the chatroom below - and you can take part.

The Q&A session will begin at 2pm BST today (Tuesday June 9), with Simon taking your queries about what's happening and what the impact could be at the Etihad.

All you have to do is sign up is submit your question in the box below, press enter, and when prompted, register your details; you can then take part in this special discussion.

Don't be late, and while you wait, be sure to check out our explainer of the potential outcomes from this week's appeal process. See you soon.
