Manchester City are said to be rivalling Tottenham for the signing of Fiorentina forward Dusan Vlahovic.
The Blues ' pursuit of a striker is no secret and they saw their efforts to sign Harry Kane scuppered in the summer as Spurs chairman Daniel Levy kept his prized possession after a fine European Championships for the England skipper.
Fiorentina are bracing themselves for summer interest in their forward, who has ruled out signing a new contract, but may look to offload him in January to boost their coffers further.
The fee in January is said to be in the region of £55m as Tuttomercato, via Marca, report that Spurs are preparing a move for the Serbian, with City also in pursuit.
Meanwhile, Pep Guardiola met with Barcelona officials Mateu Alemany and Ferran Reverter on Sunday to discuss the possibility of a Ferran Torres departure.
But Mundo Deportivo, via Sport Witness, also say that 19-year-old youngster Nico Gonzalez crept into the conversation with the Spanish boss said to be an admirer.
Whilst the report doesn't mention the details of the discussion but the idea of a swap deal could be included.
