Man City and Liverpool FC's Champions League chances rated by supercomputer after Barcelona beat Man Utd

Manchester City were the favourites to land the Champions League trophy but that has changed following the first-leg results which included Barcelona's win at Manchester United .

The Blues suffered a shock 1-0 loss at Tottenham Hotspur on Tuesday evening and analysts at FiveThirtyEight now no longer rate Pep Guardiola's men as favourites.

Man City are now back in third and rated as having a 21% chance of lifting the trophy.

The favourites tag is now on Liverpool, who eased to a 2-0 victory at home to FC Porto and have a 29% chance of winning the competition, according to the stats gurus.

Barcelona (27%) are second favourites following their 1-0 success over Manchester United at Old Trafford, with Luke Shaw's own goal proving the difference .

Juventus (9%) are fourth favourites after Cristiano Ronaldo gave the Italians an away goal in a 1-1 draw at Ajax.

Tottenham are not far behind but are still only rated as having an 8% chance of victory despite the fact that they will take a first-leg lead to the Etihad Stadium next Wednesday.

Ajax (5%), Man Utd (1%) and Porto (1%) make up the rest of the teams left.
