Man City and Liverpool FC backed to win Premier League as six Sky Sports pundits disagree

Manchester City are battling Liverpool FC for the Premier League title and the big question is who will prevail?

Six Sky Sports pundits have given their thoughts on the respective run-ins and why they think either Man City or Liverpool will claim victory.

Liverpool lead Man City by two points right now but Pep Guardiola 's men have one game in hand.

The Reds host Chelsea on Sunday, while the Blues visit Crystal Palace earlier on during the day.

There are bound to be many twists and turns before the end of the season but one thing's clear, opinions differ on who will lift the trophy.

Pundits Gary Neville, Jamie Carragher, Phil Thompson, Charlie Nicholas, Paul Merson and Matt Le Tissier have all offered up their verdicts.

It's no surprise that former Liverpool stars Carragher and Thompson are backing the Reds to edge out City.

But all four of Neville, Nicholas, Merson and Le Tissier believe City will succeed.

Neville, however, perhaps best sums up the fact that the title race can go either way by providing this analysis.

Why Paul Ince is backing Liverpool FC to beat Man City to Premier League title

"I don't think both teams will be perfect between now and the end of the season. With the Champions League thrown in, I just don't think it will happen," Neville told Sky Sports . "I'm not overly confident about my predictions in any way shape or form."
