Man City allocation and ticket information for Community Shield vs Leicester confirmed

Over 26,000 Manchester City fans will be at Wembley for the Community Shield on August 7 as part of a maximum capacity crowd.

Premier League champions City face FA Cup winners Leicester at Wembley in the season opener, looking to start the new campaign with a trophy.

Kick off for the game will be at 5.15pm, and now the ticket information has been confirmed by City.

Situated in the East half of Wembley, City have been given an allocation of 26,602 tickets, starting at £10 for children and concessions, and £20 for adults. The maximum ticket price will be £45 for adults and £35 for children in Category 1 areas.

The allocation will see the biggest number of City fans at a game since February 2020.

City say tickets will go on sale on Wednesday July 28 at 9am for members with a 2021/22 Platinum, Gold or 93:20 Seasoncard with 10,000 or more ticket points, with different sales windows opening over the following two days depending on supporters' membership status.

Fans attending the game will need to provide evidence of a negative Covid-19 lateral flow test, or evidence of full vaccination in the previous 14 days.

Full details of the requirements for purchasing tickets can be found here.
